VIRTUAL WRITING INSPIRED BY PHOTOS

WRITING INSPIRED BY PHOTOS

A picture is worth a thousand words – and can also inspire writing a thousand words! Using personal photos and other types of pictures to spark creativity, participants will write both non-fiction (about memories evoked by the images) as well as imaginative fictional stories! Integrating writing exercises and a mindfulness-based approach, this class is for anyone who enjoys writing in any form (stories, poems, journaling, letters, etc.) as well as for photographers looking to develop narratives around their work. Providing a welcoming and supportive group environment, the class is open to veterans, current active duty and reserve members and family members.
